Dishing up bebop, beer-hall and burlesque, this album features Louise's "sizzling" vocals and a burly band cranking away on everything from tuba to ukelele. Customer Review at CDBaby.com: "This chick is CUH-RAZY, like Carol Burnett on ten hits of speed... The band is torrid and Miss Louise is FABU!" Songs To Sing In A Bar. Cabaret vocalist.

As a singer/pianist, Angie Louise works regularly in comic and holiday parody cabaret ("exquisitely funny" - TheatreSeattle.com) while also producing one-woman shows that have earned her a reputation for "An emotional range most performers shy away from… Louise caresses you one minute and then wham, socks it to you… A mesmerizing presence and an amazing voice." That review was for her 2000 show Songs To Sing In A Bar, which featured German cabaret music of the 1930s suppressed by the Nazi regime. Recorded live at Thumper's Oak Room, with DJ Gommels on piano.
