ANGIE LOUISE is a character actress, musical comedienne, voice talent, and member of Actors' Equity Association. A fan of the late great Madeleine Kahn, Louise has been cast as many a wisecracking gal Friday and freaky femme fatale. Film credits include the starring role of Jessie in cult comedy Gory Gory Hallelujah, released theatrically in 2005 and now available on DVD in national distribution. She also co-starred with Richard Sanders in short film Circus of Infinity (2005), premiering at Seattle International Film Festival. Onstage credits include many leading and principal roles with Seattle’s premier musical theatre companies, The 5th Avenue Theatre and Village Theatre. A few notable roles for these include Electra in Gypsy with Judy Kaye, rock pianist Vi Petty in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, Molly in Unsinkable Molly Brown, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Billie in Babes In Arms, and carny diva The Incomparable Rosalie in Carnival, for which she received a Backstage West's Critic's Choice Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Original-cast work includes playing real-life vaudeville star Elsie Campbell in Bootlegger at the Village, Maoli in Bucket Of Blood: The Beatnik Musical at Seattle Rep, and, in 2007, Eve in Eve and Eddie at the Bathhouse Theatre and Barbara in Charles Strouse’s workshop production of Dancing With Time. Touring in 2008: Fraulein Kost in the 5th Avenue Theatre’s multi-city production of Cabaret.
